LLOYD LOWNDES, ESQUIRE, GOVERNOR.

Commissioners of Baltimore county, for the use of the public
schools of said county," be and the same is hereby repealed
and re enacted, so as to read as follows :

SEC. 2. Be it enacted, That the whole of all fines and for-
feitures imposed after the passage of this Act by the Circuit
Court for Baltimore county, and by justices of the peace of
said county, shall be paid to the Board of County School Com-
missioners of Baltimore county for the use of the public
schools of said county.

SEC. 3. And, be it enacted. That all fines and forfeitures
imposed by the Circuit Court for Baltimore county, and col-
lected by the sheriff of said county, shall be paid over by the
said sheriff to the said Board of County School Commissioners
of Baltimore county within two weeks after the commence-
ment of a new law term of court for the preceding term, and
all fines and forfeitures imposed and collected by justices of
the peace shall be paid over to said Board of County School
Commissioners of Baltimore county on or before the 20th day
of every month for the preceding month.
SEC. 4. And be it enacted. That in making said return to

be, shall make out a statement, giving the name of the party
convicted or that forfeited his recognizance, the date of con-
viction or forfeiture, the charge on which arrested, and the
amount of fine or forfeiture and a reference to his docket and
folio.

SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That if the sheriff of Baltimore
county or any justice of the peace shall violate any of the pro-
visions of this Act, upon conviction thereof for each and every
offense he shall pay a fine of not less than twenty-five dollars
nor more than two hundred dollars.

Penalty.

SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That all articles and sections of
the Code of Public General Laws, or Code of Local Laws, or
Acts or parts of Acts, inconsistent with this Act, so far as the
same applies to Baltimore county, be and the same are hereby
repealed.

Repeal.

SEC. 7. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.
