CHAPTER 517.
AN ACT to create a new precinct in Cambridge, from the
Seventh Election District of Dorchester County, to be
known as the Fourth Precinct.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-

land, That a new precinct be and is hereby created in Cam-
bridge from the seventh election district of Dorchester county,
to be known as the fourth precinct, and that it shall consist of
all that part of said seventh election district lying west of a
line commencing at the foot of High street in the town of
Cambridge, thence running south with the middle of High
street to Puncheon bridge or Washington street, thence west-
erly with said Washington street, to the divisional line of Dails-
ville precinct, where it crosses the county road in front of the
Chamberlaine farm ; the precinct hereby created being a part
of the present second precinct of said seventh election district,
and the Supervisors of Elections are hereby directed to make
all necessary provisions for voting in said precinct as they are
now required by law for other polling places in said county.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That it shall be the duty of the

the list of qualified voters on the registration books thereof,
the names of all persons residing within the limits hereof of
that portion of the Second precinct hereby placed in said fourth
precinct, and who shall hereafter be entitled to vote in said

voters so stricken off as hereinbefore mentioned are hereby
authorized and directed to be enrolled by the officers of regis-
tration thereof, upon the books of the said fourth precinct.
