when and in case a dividend amounting to four per centum
shall also be earned and declared on the shares of the capital
stock other than said preference shares, then the said prefer-
ence shares held by said Caroline county, shall be entitled to
an equal pro rata shares of all dividends that may be earned
on the capital stock of said company over and above four per
centum. And the property of said railroad company, and its
capital stock and other indebtedness are hereby exempted from
county and municipal taxes for the period of ten years from
the day of its completion.

SEC. 12. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect;
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 476.
AN ACT to repeal Section 102 of Article 3 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Baltimore County,"
sub-title "Fish," and re-enact same as amended.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That section 102 of Article 3 of the Code of Public!
Local Laws of Maryland, title "Baltimore County," sub title
"Fish," be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted so
as to read as follows :

Repeal.
|
102. It shall not be lawful for any person to fish in said
waters, Bird river excepted, with nets of any kind, except
seines, a greater distance than three hundred yards from the
shore, and in no case shall said nets be extended more than one
third the distance in any of said rivers or their tributaries.

CHAPTER 477.
AN ACT to refund to Abram J. Williams, of Calvert County,
a sum of money paid by him to the Clerk of the Circuit
Court of Calvert County, and by said Clerk paid into the
Treasury of the State, for a commission as Chief Judge of
the Orphans' Court of Calvert County, which commission
was annulled by the Courts of the State.
