SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That all vacancies in said board
caused by the death, resignation or removal of any one or
more of the members thereof, other than the officers of the
State or of the said regiment, shall be filled by the Governor,
and every four years the Governor shall appoint the number of
trustees hereinbefore named to be appointed by him...
SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That the said armory «hall be

land National Guard, for the purposes of its roganization
under the Militia Law of the State, and for the storage and
custody of State military property.

tion thereon of a suitable building, the appropriation of three
hundred thousand dollars out of the consolidated loan of
eighteen hundred and ninety-nine shall be used exclusively, so
far as the same may be required for such purposes, for the
acquisition of land and the erection, construction and equip-
ment of the said armory, for the purposes of the said Fifth
Regiment of Infantry, Maryland National Guard, and said
appropriation shall be paid by the Treasurer upon the warrant
of the Comptroller, to the board of trustees of said armory,
upon their written order, designating the specific purpose to
which the money so drawn is to be applied, endorsed by the
Adjutant General of the State, from time to time, as the uses
and requirements, and the acquisition of land and the construc-
tion and equipment of said building may require.
SEC. 7. And be it further enacted, That if the said board

the manner and as provided by sections 248 to 253, both inclu-
sive, of Article 23 of the Code of Public General Laws.

the sum named, provided that the city of Baltimore, or any
other person may donate any sums of money in addition to
the sum vappropriated by the State.

discretion, direct the use of the said armory for any other reg-
iment of infantry of the State.
