CHAPTER 442.
AN ACT to amend Article 21 of the Code of Public Local
Laws, title "Talbot County," sub-title "Fish," by adding
thereto a new section to be designated Section 116 D of
Article 21.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Article 21 of the Code of Public Local Laws,"
title "Talbot County," subtitle " Fish," be and the same is
hereby amended by adding thereto a new section, to be desig-
nated section 116 n of Article 21.
116 D. It shall be unlawful for any person to use patent
twine weirs or any other twine weirs in the waters of the
Great Choptank river, extending in the river to a greater dis-
tance than seven hundred yards from the shore, in that part of
the river from its mouth to Chancellor's Point ; and extending
to a greater distance than four hundred yards in that part of
the river lying between Chancellor's Point and Kate's Point;
and extending in the river above Kate's Point more than three
hundred yards. Any person who shall violate the provisions
of this Act shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and on
conviction thereof before any court or justice of the peace
having jurisdiction, shall be fined fifty dollars, (one-half of
which shall be paid to the informer,) and costs, and shall also
forfeit his weir nets and appliances which shall be sold at
public sale by the constable or other officer making the arrest,
and the proceeds of said sale, after deducting costs of sale,
shall be paid to the County Commissioners of the county
where said sale shall take place, for the use of the public
schools of said county.

CHAPTER 443.
AN ACT ta repeal Chapter 592 of the Acte of 1892, entitled
"An Act to incorporate the town of Clarksburg, in Mont-
gomery County."

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That chapter 592 of the Acts of 1892, entitled "An Act
to incorporate the town of Clarksburg, in Montgomery County,"
be and the same is hereby repealed.
