hereby appropriated ; for the printing of the General Assembly
of nineteen hundred, eighteen thousand and five hundred dol-
lars, or so much thereof as may be necessary ; for binding the
laws, journals and documents of said session of the General
Assembly, three thousand dollars, or so much thereof as may
be necessary ; for indexing the journals and documents of the
Senate and House of Delegates, six hundred dollars, or so
much thereof as may be necessary ; for indexing the laws,
three hundred and tifty dollars, or so much thereof as may be
necessary ; to the Secretary of the Senate and chief clerk of
the House of Delegates, for copying and arranging for publi-
cation the lawe of said session, three hundred dollars each, six
hundred dollars ; and for salaries during the recess of the Leg-
islature, three hundred dollars each, six hundred dollars ; to
the clerk of the Court of Appeals, for recording the laws of
the General Assembly of nineteen hundred, four hundred and
fifty dollars.

city for making out lists of the holders of Baltimore city
stock, two hundred dollars each, six hundred dollars ; to the
register of Baltimore city, for collecting the State tax on Bal-
timore city stock, three hundred dollars ; to the person em-
ployed to take care of the rooms of the Court of Appeals, one
hundred dollars ; for printing the report of the State Tax
Commissioner, four hundred dollars, or so much thereof as may
be necessary ; for the postage for the Executive Department,
Land Office, Treasury Department, Secretary of the Senate
and chief clerk of the House of Delegates, twelve hundred
and tifty dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary ; for
fuel and lights of the public buildings and grounds, to be
expended under the direction and control of the Governor,
eight thousand dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary;
to the twenty-six newspapers, in which shall be published the
defaulters to the State, previous to the general election in
November, eighteen hundred and ninety-nine, to be distributed
by the Comptroller upon bills rendered, one thousand dollars,
or so much thereof as may be necessary ; for the purpose of
fitting the Senate chamber and hall of the House of Delegates
and so forth, for the meeting of the General Assembly of
nineteen hundred, and for incidental repairs in the public
buildings during the recess of the Legislature, two thousand
