may be necessary ; for the contingent fund of the Court of
Appeals, one thousand dollars, or so much thereof as may be
necessary ; for the contingent fund of the Board of Public
Works, tive thousand dollars, or so much thereof as may be
necessary, said amount to be expended under the direction and
control of said board, to be used for repairs to State property
and other necessary expenses ; for the contingent fund of the
Attorney General, for printing and traveling expenses, clerical
services, stationery, postage and other necessary expenses,
thirteen hundred dollars, or so much thereof as may be neces-
sary ; for the contingent fund of the State Librarian, for por-
terage, postage, freight, purchases of stationery and other in-
cidental expenses, five hundred dollais, or so much therefore as
may be necessary ; said contingent fund to be paid upon the
proper vouchers exhibit to the Comptroller.

For the augmentation and furnishing of the State Library,

to the State Librarian, for expenses in shipments of the Acts
of Assembly, reports and documents of the session of nineteen

dollars and eleven cents ; for the salaries of two inspectors of
steam boilers in the city of Baltimore, n'fteen hundred dollars
each — three thousand dollars ; for the salary of the Mine In-
spector in Garrett and Allegany counties, fifteen hundred dol-
lars; for the rent of boxes in some safe deposit company, for
the use of the Treasury Department, one hundred dollars, or
so much thereof as may be necessary ; for insurance on public
buildings of the State and on the personal property thereto
belonging, the sum of tive thousand dollars, or so much thereof
as may be necessary.

fifteen hundred dollars each — three thousand dollars ; and to
defray the expenses of the Commissioners, as per section 89
of Article XXXIX of the Code of Public General Laws, title
"Fish and Fisheries," sub-title "Commissioners of Fisheries,"
seventy-five hundred dollars, or so much thereof as in the
opinion of the Governor may be necessary ; no part of the
said appropriation to be expended in the killing of the eels in
