impure thing therein, or by committing any nuisance in or
near the sources of supply or reservoir, so as to pollute the

recovered before a justice of the peace, and the other half to
go to the said Burgess and Commissioners for the purpose of

SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the "date of its passage.

CHAPTER 28.
AN ACT to provide for the erection and equipment of a
County High School in Laurel, Prince George's County,
Maryland.
SECTION 1.Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That C. H. Stanley, J. F. Billiard, P. P. Castle, D. M.
Fisher, Edward Phelps, R. W. Kerr, T. M. Baldwin, A. M.
Bond, William Milstead and D. W. Snowden, be and they are
hereby constituted a building committee, for the purpose of

purchasing a lot or lots/and erecting and furnishing in the
town of Laurel, a county high school building, to be used for
the purpose of a county high school for pupils from the public
schools of Prince George's county, and also pupils from the
public schools of Howard county, Charles county, St. Mary's
county and Calvert county, which said last mentioned 'pupils
should be accorded equal educational advantages and facilities
in said high school with the pupils of the public schools of
said Prince George's county, upon the payment of a charge or
tuition fee to be n'xed and determined by the School Commis-
sioners of said Prince George's county.
