CHAPTER 393.
AN ACT to exempt that part of Tangier District in Somerset
County, north of the thoroughfare, and commonly called
Rock Creek, from the operation of Section 108 of Article 20
of the Code of Public Local Laws, title " Somerset County,"
sub-title "Fences," by adding thereto an additional section,
to be known as Section 108 A.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That an additional section be and it is hereby added to
Article 20 of the Code of Public Local Laws, title " Somerset
County," sub-title " Fences," to be known as Section 108 A, and
to read as follows :
108 A. That part of Tangier district which lies north of the

thoroughfare, and is commonly called Rock Creek, is hereby
exempted from the operation of section 108, and in said por-
tion of the district every person shall be answerable for his
own live stock and responsible for its safe keeping, and it shall
not be allowed to trespass beyond the premises of its owner.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 394.
AN ACT to repeal Chapter four hundred and seventy-three
of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed
at the session of eighteen hundred and ninety-six, entitled an
Act to amend Articles six -and twenty-one of the Code of
Public Local Laws, titles, respectively, "Caroline County"
and "Talbot County," sub-title "Fish," by adding thereto
three new sections, to be designated as sections 146 A, 146 B
and 146 C, Article six, and sections 116 A, 116 B and 116 C
of Article twenty-one.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
