Endorsement
of the presi-
dent.

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That as representatives of this state we heartily
endorse the administration of Grover Cleveland,
President of the United States, and especially
his late message to congress on the reduction of
the national revenue.

No. 11.

Joint resolution approving the act of eighteen
hundred and eighty-six, chapter five hundred
and nine, entitled "An act to authorize the
Mayor and City Council of Baltimore city and
the County Commissioners of Talbot, Caro-
line, Wicomico and Dorchester counties to en-
dorse the bonds of the Baltimore and Eastern
Shore Railroad Company."

WHEREAS the General Assembly of Maryland
at the January session, eighteen hundred and
eighty-six, passed an act, numbered five' hun-
dred and nine, entitled "An act to authorize the

Mayor and City Council of Baltimore city and
the County Commissioners of Talbot, Caroline,
Wicomico and Dorchester counties to endorse
the bonds of the Baltimore and Eastern Shore
Railroad Company ;" and, whereas, said act was
duly advertised in said counties as required by
the constitution and laws of this state, and was
also duly submitted to the qualified voters of
said counties on the eighth day of November,
