shall be sold, the state librarian, under the
direction of the library committee, appointed
under the provisions of the act of eighteen hun-
dred and seventy, chapter two hundred and
seventy-two, shall cause fifteen hundred addi-
tional copies of the Public General Laws and
five hundred copies of the Public Local Laws to
be stricken off from the said electrotype plates
upon the best terms which he can obtain, after
such public advertisement for bids as said
library committee shall direct, and shall sell
said additional copies from time to time at the
price hereinbefore fixed, and pay over the pro-
ceeds of such sale to the treasurer.

Effective.

SEC. 8. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

Chapter 75.

A FURTHER supplement to "An act entitled
an act to incorporate a company to make a
turnpike road from the city of Baltimore to
Havre-de-Grace," passed at December session,
A. D. eighteen hundred and thirteen, chapter
one hundred and sixty-seven.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That all such parts of the
