For the augmentation of the state library, two

thousand five hundred dollars, or so much
thereof as may be necessary ; to the state libra-
rian, for the distribution of the Maryland re-
ports for the year eighteen hundred and eighty-
nine, two hundred dollars, or so much thereof
as may be necessary.

INSPECTIONS.

For the salaries of the five inspectors of to-
bacco in Baltimore city, eighteen hundred dol-

lars each, nine thousand dollars; for the pay-
merit of the annual ground rent on the tobacco
warehouse lots in Baltimore city, four hundred
and forty-eight dollars and eleven cents ; for
the salaries of two inspectors of steam boilers in
the city of Baltimore, fifteen hundred dollars
each, three thousand dollars ; for the salary of
the mine inspector in Allegany and Garret coun-
ties, fifteen hundred dollars.

REFORMATORY AND OTHER INSTITUTIONS.

To the State House of Correction, for the sup-
port of the institution, twenty-five thousand dol-

lars ; to the House of Refuge, fifteen thousand
dollars; to the House of Reformation and instruc-
tion for colored children, ten thousand dollars ;
to the managers of the Maryland Hospital for
the insane, for the support of the institution,
twenty thousand dollars, and to the same for
insurance on buildings for five years, three thou-
sand one hundred and ninety-five dollars ; and
to the same for addition to buildings, seven
thousand five hundred dollars ; and to the same
to procure additional water supply, two thou-
sand dollars ; to the State Vaccine Agent for his
salary, six hundred dollars ; and to defray the
expense of procuring reliable vaccine virus,
twelve hundred dollars, or so much thereof as
may be necessary.

MISCELLANEOUS.

To the members of the appeal tax court of
Baltimore city, for making out the lists of the
holders of Baltimore city stock, fifty dollars
each — one hundred and fifty dollars ; to the
