AN ACT to empower the county commissioners
of St. Mary's county to levy a sum of money
for the building of a school-house in the sixth
election district of said county.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-

sembly of Maryland, That the county commis-
sioners of St. Mary's county be and they are
hereby empowered to levy for the building of a
school-house, for white children, in the sixth
election district of St. Mary's county, such a
sum of money as in the opinion of said commis-
sioners may be sufficient for the purpose herein
specified.
