SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That articles four and

	Quorum.	for the transaction of business, and in case of the absence of the president a president pro tem- pore may be appointed by the directors present from their own number ; and such president pro tempore, with these directors, shall constitute a quorum for the transaction of business ; all va- cancies in the board may be filled by the vote of a majority of the directors, and such directors so appointed shall serve until the annual election, of a new board.
