Chapter 359.
AN ACT to direct the county commissioners of
Montgomery county to levy a sum of money
for the use of Thomas F. Cashell, of Mont-
gomery county, for taxes paid by him in error .

Directed to
levy.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the county commission-
ers of Montgomery county be and they are
hereby directed, at time of making their next
annual levy, to levy for the use of Thomas F.
Cashell, of Montgomery county, the sum of
forty-five dollars and ninety cents for taxes paid
in error.

Effective.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

Chapter 360.
AN ACT to repeal section ten of the Code of
Public General Laws, entitled "Evidence,"
sub-title "Attendance and Pay of Witnesses,"
as amended by the act of eighteen hundred
and eighty-six, chapter one hundred and
sixty-five, so far as the same relates to Caro-
line county, and to re-enact the same with
amendments as to Caroline county.

bly of Maryland, That section ten of article
thirty-seven of the Code of Public General Laws,
entitled "Evidence," sub-title " Attendance and
Pay of Witnesses," be and is hereby repealed so
far as the same relates to Caroline county, and
the following be enacted in lieu thereof to come
in as section, two hundred and four of the Public
Laws of Caroline county.
SEC. 204. There shall be allowed to each "Wit-
ness" attending the circuit courts or orphans'
court for Caroline county the sum of one dol-
