AN ACT to authorize the county commissioners
of Caroline county to subscribe to the capital
stock of the Baltimore and Cape Charles Rail-
road Company and the Baltimore and Eastern
Shore Railroad Company.
SECTION. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-

ers of Caroline county be and they are hereby
authorized to subscribe to the capital stock of
the Baltimore and Cape Charles railroad com-
pany to the amount of fifty thousand dollars of
said capital stock, and to subscribe to capital
stock of the Baltimore and Eastern Shore rail-
road company to the amount of sixteen thousand

that no such subscription shall be made until
the question of such subscription shall have
been submitted to the qualified voters of said
county for their approval at an election to be
held in said county for that purpose, and a ma-
jority of the votes cast at such election shall
