in their judgment, best promote the educational

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

Chapter 351.
AN ACT to authorize the county commissioners
of Prince George's county to issue bonds, bear-
ing five per cent, interest, to an amount not
exceeding twenty-five thousand dollars for
the purpose of paying the current expenses of
said county, and to require payment of taxes
in cash.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the county commissioners

of Prince George's county be and they are
hereby authorized and empowered to issue
coupon bonds to an amount not exceeding
twenty-five thousand dollars, in sums of not
less than one hundred dollars nor more than
one thousand dollars, to be signed by the presi-
dent of said board of county commissioners and
countersigned by the clerk thereof, and under
the corporate seal of said commissioners, bear-
ing interest at the rate of five per cent, per
annum, payable annually on the first day of
July in each year, and that the coupons on said
bonds, when they become due, be received by
the treasurer of said county in payment of
county taxes.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That said bonds be

payable as follows : Five thousand dollars
thereof in five years from their date, and five
thousand dollars thereof in ten years, and five
thousand dollars in fifteen years, and ten
thousand dollars in twenty years, until the en-
tire amount of said bonds are paid.
