SEC 2. And be it enacted, That the assent of
the State of Maryland to the grants of moneys

for the purposes, upon the terms and in accord-
ance with the several conditions and provisions
in said act contained, is hereby signified and ex-
pressed, and the secretary of state is hereby
directed to transmit a certified copy of this act
to the secretary of the treasury of the United
States.

Effective.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

Chapter 56.
AN ACT to prohibit the granting of license for
the sale of spirituous or fermented liquors or
lager beer in any part of the district lying
between Baltimore city and Druid Hill Park
in Baltimore county.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That from and after the pas-

clerk of the circuit court for Baltimore county
to issue license to any person or persons to sell
spirituous or fermented liquors or lager beer in
any part of the following district, to wit : in

all that part of Baltimore county bounded on
the east by Mount Royal Terrace, on the south
by North or Boundary avenue, on the west by
Druid Hill avenue extended, and on the north
by Druid Hill Park.

Effective.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.
