borrow money and create indebtedness, in such
way and manner as the executive committee
and president may deem necessary for the man-
agement of the business of the same, but all the
property, real and personal, shall be bound for
any contracts made or liabilities incurred by or
under the authority of the said corporation or
its agents for its use or accounts.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from its passage.

AN ACT to direct the county commissioners of
Montgomery county to levy a sum of money
for the use of Thomas F. Cashell, of Montgom-
ery county, for taxes paid by him in error.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-

bly of Maryland, That the county commissioners
of Montgomery county be and they are hereby
directed, at the time of making their next annual
levy, to levy for the use of Thomas F. Cashell, of
Montgomery county, the sum of forty-five dol-
lars and ninety cents as taxes paid in error.
