SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That upon the adop-
tion and approval of the plan or system of in-

dexing authorized by the first section of this
act, it shall be the duty of the clerk of said
court forthwith to make and prepare for use in
his office a new general index of all the land
records of Harford county prior to the year
eighteen hundred and eighty-eight, and to make
and keep a general index upon the same plan
for the year eighteen hundred and eighty-eight
and succeeding years, said general index to be
kept in well-bound books suitable for the purpose.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the committee
so appointed as aforesaid shall, by and with the

assent of the resident judges of the circuit
court for Harford county, fix the compensation
for said indexing of the land records as afore-
said up to the first day of January, eighteen
hundred and eighty-eight, and that the sum so
required to pay for said work shall be levied for
and paid by the county commissioners of said
county.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

the sale of spirituous or fermented liquors or
lager beer in, at or near the town of Sparrow's
Point, in the twelfth district of Baltimore
county.
