Chapter 321.

AN ACT to amend and re-enact as amended
the second section of the act of January ses-
sion, eighteen hundred and eighty-six, chap-
ter four hundred and ninety-two, entitled "An
act to repeal chapter two hundred and sixty-
one of the acts passed by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland at the January session, eigh-
teen hundred and eighty-two," entitled "An act
to repeal article seventy-six of the Code of
Public General Laws, entitled Public Printer,' "
and to enact an article in lieu thereof, and to
re-enact the same with amendments.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That the second section
of the act of January session, eighteen hundred

and eighty-six, chapter four hundred and ninety-
two, entitled "An act to repeal chapter two hun-
dred and sixty-one of the acts passed by the
General Assembly of Maryland at the January
session, eighteen hundred and eighty-two," enti-
tled "An act to repeal article seventy-six of the
Code of Public General Laws, entitled ' Public
Printer,' " and to enact an article in lieu thereof,
and to re enact the same with amendments, be
and the same is hereby amended and re-enacted
as amended, so that the same shall read as fol-
lows.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That on or before
the first day of September, prior to meeting of
each and every session of the general assembly
of this state, it shall be the duty of the clerk of

the court of appeals, and he is hereby directed
and required to advertise for ten successive days
in three daily newspapers published in the city
of Baltimore, having as near as he can ascer-
tain the largest circulation, and in two weekly
newspapers published in the city of Annapolis,
that he will receive bids for the entire printing
for the general assembly at their next ensuing
session, which respective bids shall each include
four thousand copies of the governor's message
in English; five hundred copies of the governor's
