		Chapter 43. AN ACT to refund to Isaac H. Hopkins, late collector of taxes for second district of Anne Arundel county, the sum of twenty-two dol- lars and eighty-three cents, for money paid into the treasury of Maryland in excess of the amount due to the State of Maryland for taxes for the year eighteen hundred and eighty-three. WHEREAS it appears by the books of the treas- ury department of the State of Maryland that
	Preamble.	Isaac H. Hopkins, collector of taxes for Anne Arundel county, has paid into the treasury of the State of Maryland the sum of twenty-two dollars and eighty -three cents in excess of the amount due by him for state taxes for the year eighteen hundred and eighty -three ; and whereas the treasury officers of the State of Maryland have recommended the passage of a law refund- ing the said sum of money to said collector ; therefore, SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem- bly of Maryland, That the treasurer of the State of Maryland be and is hereby required, upon the
	Whom to pay to.	warrant of the comptroller of the State of Mary- land, to pay to Isaac H. Hopkins the sum of twenty-two dollars and eighty-three cents, out of any money in the treasury of the State of Mary- land not otherwise appropriated.
	Effective.	SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect from the date of its passage. Approved February 21, 1888.
