Chapter 259.

AN ACT to amend the act of the General As-
sembly of Maryland, passed at its session held
in the year eighteen hundred and sixty-seven,
and entitled " An act to create a Board of Com-
missioners to keep open the Harbor of Balti-
more, and the access thereto, from obstruction
by ice, and for River and Harbor Relief."
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-

bly of Maryland, That from and after the first day
of April, A. D. eighteen hundred and eighty-
eight, the board of commissioners, styled " The
Harbor and River Relief Board of Baltimore,"
provided for by the act of the General Assembly
of Maryland, passed at its session of eighteen
hundred and sixty-seven, and entitled "An act
to create a Board of Commissioners to keep open
the Harbor of Baltimore, and the access thereto,
from obstruction by ice, and for Harbor and
River Relief," shall consist of the president of
the board of trade of the city of Baltimore, the
president of the corn and flour exchange of the
city of Baltimore, and the mayor of the city of
Baltimore, and the said board of commissioners
shall possess all the powers conferred by said
act and by this act upon the said board.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That it shall be the
