Chapter 40.
AN ACT to change the name of Cracklin dis-
trict number one, or the first election district
of Montgomery county, and to designate the
voting place thereof.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-

sembly of Maryland, That the name of Cracklin
district number one, or the first election district
of Montgomery county, be and the same is hereby
changed to Laytonsville district number one, or
the first election district of Montgomery county,
and that the voting place or polls thereof shall
be held at Laytonsville.

|
Effective.
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

Chapter 41.
AN ACT to authorize the county commissioners
of Montgomery county to pay to Henry Bradly
Davidson, administrator of John Davidson,
deceased, a certain sum of money, on account
of taxes paid in error.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-

sioners of Montgomery county be and they are
hereby authorized and directed at their next
annual levy of taxes for said county to levy to
the use of Henry Bradly Davidson, adminis-
trator of John Davidson, deceased, the sum of
one hundred and seventy-four dollars and eight
cents, as taxes paid in error for the years eigh-
teen hundred and sixty-eight to eighteen hun-
dred and eighty-six, both inclusive.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.
