mediately taken before a justice of the peace,
or judge of the circuit court, to be dealt with
according to law. But nothing contained in
this act shall be so construed as to lessen or
relieve the town bailiff, constables, or sheriff, of
duties imposed upon them by law.
SEC. 36C. The town commissioners, of Cam-

bridge shall appropriate three hundred dollars
of the seven hundred dollars paid to them by
the county commissioners of Dorchester county
for corporation purposes, to pay the police force
appointed by the said board of police commis-
sioners ; and the said town commissioners shall
annually appropriate, in advance, a sufficient
sum, together with the said three hundred dol-
lars, to pay these said policemen at the end
of each month.

Effective.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

Chapter 222.

AN ACT to incorporate the Windsor Cemetery
Company.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That William J. Dickey,
Frank Brown, Samuel Eccles, Jr., Joseph B.

etery Compa-
ny incorpora-
ted.

Seth, Peter G. Zouck, T. Alexander Seth and
Edwin L. Tunis, and their successors, be and
they are hereby created a body politic and cor-
porate by the name and title of the Windsor
Cemetery Company, and by that name shall
have perpetual succession, and shall be able and
liable to sue and be sued in any court of law or
equity ; and may have and use a common seal,
and the same at their pleasure to alter or renew ;
and shall have power to purchase, lease, hold
and enjoy to them, and their successors, such
real estate as they may select in Baltimore
county on the west side of Gwynn's Falls (not
within one mile of Druid Hill Park, nor within
two miles of the present corporate limits of Bal-
