as herein directed, and known as the " Maryland
National Guard," be and the same is hereby

amended so as to omit the name of the "Wil-
liamsport Light Infantry," which organization
has been disbanded and mustered out of service,
and to substitute therefor the name of the
"Jackson Guards," a volunteer company of
Harford county, as a part of said "Maryland
National Guard," said last named company to
be and become a portion of the first brigade,
and to be attached to such regiment or battalion
thereof as the commander in chief may desig-
nate.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect on the day of its passage.

AN ACT to repeal sections one and two of an
act of the General Assembly of Maryland
passed at January session, eighteen hundred
and seventy-two, entitled, "An act regulating
fences in Wicomico county," as amended by
the acts of the General Assembly of Maryland,
passed at January session, eighteen hundred
and seventy-four, chapter sixty-five, so far as
the same applies to Trappe district in said
county, otherwise known as election district
Number seven, in said county.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That sections one and two
