elected, A. S. Leathering, J. W. Shemwell, Dr.
T. M. Chaney, be and they are hereby appointed
a board of road commissioners of Calvert county,
with power and authority to do and perform all
acts and things that said road commissioners to
be elected as herein provided for are authorized
and empowered by this act to do and perform.

SEC. 13. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

AN ACT for the preservation of birds and game
in Montgomery county.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That it shall not be lawful to
kill any robin, blue bird, thrush, martin, mock-
ing bird, barn swallow, mason swallow, lark,
oriole, red bird, cat bird, chipping or summer
sparrow, wren, pewitt, goldfinch, sap-sucker,
hanging bird, woodpecker, fly catcher and tana-
