the seventeenth section of the act of eighteen
hundred and eighty-two, chapter twenty-two,
shall be three days instead of ten days as pro-
vided in section seventeen of said act of eighteen
hundred and eighty-two, chapter twenty-two.

Effective.

SEC. 15. And be it further enacted, That this
act shall take effect from the date of its passage.

Chapter 156.

AN ACT to repeal section forty-one of an act
passed at the January session, eighteen hun-
dred and sixty-four, chapter three hundred
and forty-six, entitled "An act to amend arti-
cle four of the Code of Public Local Laws relat-
ing to the leasing of the State Tobacco Ware-
houses and the inspection of tobacco," and
also to repeal an act passed at the January ses-
sion, eighteen hundred and seventy, chapter
two hundred and ninety-one, entitled "An act
to repeal section five hundred and thirty-five,
article four, Code of Public Local Laws for the
city of Baltimore," sub-title " Tobacco," and
to enact a substitute therefor.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That section forty-one of the
