sembly of Maryland, That the comptroller of
the treasury of Maryland be and he is hereby
directed to draw his warrant on the treasurer
of the state, in favor of said John H. Dougherty,
for the sum of seventy-five dollars.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to a further supplement to an act en-
titled "An act to incorporate companies to
make several turnpike roads through Balti-
more county, and for other purposes," relating
to the railway on the Baltimore and Yorktown
Turnpike Road.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-

authorized and empowered to make use of stored
electricity as a motive power on their railway
tracks on the said turnpike road, in order to pro-
mote more rapid transit thereon.

Baltimore and Yorktown Road, before availing
of the rights and privileges conferred by the
first section of this act, shall be required to lay
an additional track of railway on such portions
of their railway where at present but a single
track exists, only for the purposes set forth in
