Chapter 143.
AN ACT to add an additional section to article
eighty-one of the Code of Public General
Laws, entitled "Revenue and Taxes," sub-
title "State Tax Commissioner," to be desig-
nated as section one hundred and forty-seven
A, to require the president of every corpora-
tion hereafter organized under the General
Corporation Laws of this State, for transact-
ing any business for profit or gain, to file a
copy of its certificate of incorporation in the
office of the state tax commissioner before
proceeding to transact any business as such
corporation, and to punish the neglect or re-
fusal to comply with the provisions of this
act.
