SEC. 13. That the bond of any collector failing
to comply with the preceding sections shall
be put in suit by the county commissioners at
the January term of the circuit court for Somer-
set county next after the said first day of De-
cember, unless said collector shall show a good
and sufficient reason for a postponement of such
action, but such postponement shall not be for a
longer period than one term of said court.

SEC. 14. That all documents, books and papers
belonging to the office of any collector, are here-
by declared to be the property of Somerset
county, and at all times shall be subject to the
examination of the county commissioners.

SEC. 16. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from and after the first day of January,
eighteen hundred and eighty -nine, but nothing
herein contained shall be construed to impair,
impede or abate any proceedings already taken
or to be taken in the collection of taxes in Som-
erset county under existing laws.

AN ACT to empower the Cecil county agricul-
tural society to protect its grounds and exhi-
bitions, by appointing special constables for
the same, and to exempt certain persons to
whom said society may grant the privilege of
bartering, selling and exhibiting within its
grounds from the requirement of taking out a
license or paying a fee therefor.
