Chapter 135.

AN ACT to add a new section to chapter one
hundred and forty-six of the acts of eighteen
hundred and seventy-six, entitled " An act to
enable the qualified voters of Worcester county
to determine by ballot whether spirituous or
fermented liquors shall not be sold in said
county, or shall be sold only as hereinafter de-
scribed, and to repeal all acts inconsistent here-
with," providing for the payment of the fines
imposed under said act to the board of county
school commissioners of Worcester county, for
the benefit of the public schools of said county ;
said additional section to follow next after sec-
tion one hundred and seventy-seven of said
act, and to be known as section one hundred
and seventy-eight.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-

bly of Maryland, That the following section be
and it is hereby added to chapter one hundred
and forty-six of the acts of eighteen hundred
and seventy-six, entitled "An act to enable the
qualified voters of Worcester county to deter-
mine by ballot whether spirituous or fermented
liquors shall not be sold in said county, or shall
be sold only as hereinafter described, and to re-
peal all acts inconsistent herewith;" said addi-
tional section to follow next after section one
hundred and seventy-seven of said act, and to
be known as section one hundred and seventy-
eight.

Section added.

SEC. 178. And be it enacted, That all fines im-
posed under any of the provisions of this act .
shall be paid over to the board of county school
commissioners of Worcester county, for the bene-
fit of the public schools of said county.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That all acts of as-
sembly, or any parts thereof, inconsistent with
provisions of this act be, and the same are hereby
repealed.
