LAWS OF MARYLAND.

Effective.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

Approved February 7, 1888.

Chapter 18.

AN ACT authorizing Erastus Handy, trustee,
to sell the real estate of Mary M. Horsey
under decree of the circuit court for Somerset
county, to pay and settle with John C. Horsey,
a minor and heir-at-law of said Mary M.
Horsey.

WHEREAS John C. Horsey, a minor, is enti-
tled to certain funds in the hands of Erastus
Handy, trustee to sell the real estate of his
late mother, Mary M. Horsey, late of Somer-
set county, deceased ; and whereas the said

Preamble.

John C. Horsey will be of the full age of twen-
ty-one years during the month of November
next, and is desirous to receive his said share,
which amounts to about the sum of six hun-
dred dollars, and the said trustee is anxious to
settle with said Horsey.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That Erastus Handy, trustee
to sell the real estate of Mary M. Horsey under

a decree of the circuit court for Somerset county
be and he is hereby authorized to present to the
court aforesaid an account of the amount of
money and other property in his hands as such

Who to pay to

trustee belonging to John C. Horsey as an heir-
at-law of the said Mary M. Horsey, and to pay
and deliver over to the said John C. Horsey all
such money and other property that the said
circuit court may order and 'decree on said
account to be due him, and to take his receipt
therefor, which shall be acknowledged and re-
corded in the office of the clerk of said court,
and have the same effect as if the same were
executed by a person of full age.
