Chapter 107.

AN ACT to repeal section ninety-one of article
two of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
"Anne Arundel County," sub-title "Fences,"
and to re-enact the same with amendments.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That section ninety-one of
article two of the Code of Public Local Laws,
title "AnneArundel County," sub-title "Fences,"
be and the same hereby is repealed and re-
enacted with amendments, so as to read as
follows :
Section ninty-one. All other division fences,

re-enacted.

if of stone, shall be four feet high from the
surface of the ground ; if of posts and wire,
or posts and barbed wire or metallic ribbon,
shall be four feet high, and of not less than five

wires or strands, strung as follows : The bottom
wire four inches from the surface of the ground,
the second ten inches, the third twenty inches,
the fourth thirty-two inches, and the top wire
four feet from the surface. If of wood, or em-
bankment and wood, or hedges, said fences
shall be at least five feet high ; and all division
brush fences made upon embankment shall be
at least three feet high, and the embankment
not less than four feet high.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

Chapter 108.

AN ACT to provide for the appointment of an
additional justice of the peace for election
district number six in Allegany county, who
shall be appointed for and reside in the vil-
lage of Ellerslie, or immediate vicinity.

Effective.
