FRANK BROWN, ESQUIRE, GOVERNOR.

the salaries of the judge of the Court of Appeals from Balti-
more city, and of the chief judge and five associate judges of
the Supreme Bench of Baltimore city, four thousand five
hundred dollars each, thirty one thousand and tive hundred
dollars; for the salary of the Attorney-General, three thousand
dollars; for commissions to attorneys on claims of the State
placed in their hands for collection, five thousand dollars,
or so much thereof as may be necessary; for the crier of the
Court of Appeals, one thousand dollars; for the salary of the
State Reporter, one thousand dollars; for the State's subscrip-
tion to two hundred copies each of volumes eighty-three and
eighty four of the Maryland Reports, twenty-eight hundred
dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary, and for the
paper on which said volumes may he printed, four hundred
dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary, in accord-
ance with article eighty of the Code of Public General Laws.

MILITIA.

For the support of the militia of the State, to be expended
under the supervision of the Governor, forty-five thousand
dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary; for the salary
of the Adjutant General of the State, fifteen hundred dollars;
and for contingent expenses of his office, two hundred and
fifty dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary, to be
paid out of the appropriation for the support of the militia,
and the balance of said appropriation, or so much thereof as
may be necessary, for the maintenance of the militia in the
various counties of the State and in the city of Baltimore.

PENSIONS.

Militia

For the payment of pensions granted by the acts of the
General Assembly to Mrs. Julia A. Dorsey and William
Brown, during their natural lives, in accordance with the pro-
visions of chapter two hundred and twenty-eight of eighteen
hundred and seventy-four, and chapter two hundred and sixty-
nine of eighteen hundred and seventy, one hundred and sixty
dollars.
SCHOOLS.

Pensions,

For the system of free public schools, white and colored, in
the several counties and the city of Baltimore, and for the
State Normal School and the State Board of Education, to be
apportioned by the Comptroller in accordance with the laws in

Schools.
