LAWS OF MARYLAND.

Frostburg and vicinity, or elsewhere in Allegany county,
Maryland, a general merchandising business, both wholesale
and retail, and to manufacture men's clothing, and to carry on
a merchant tailoring business, in said town, and to sell or
otherwise dispose of the products of such manufacturing or
industrial business, and to buy, sell, lease or otherwise deal in
real and personal property.

Effective.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

Approved April 6th, 1894.

CHAPTER 628.

AN ACT to add a new Section to Article two of the Code of
Public Local Laws, title "Anne Arundel County," sub-title
"Brooklyn," to be designated 106 A, to prohibit fast driving
over the public roads and highways within the limits of
Brooklyn and South Baltimore, in Anne Arundel County.

New section.

SECTION 1.Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a new section be added to article two of the
Code of Public Local Laws, title "Anne Arundel County,"
sub-title "Brooklyn," to be designated section 106 A, to pro-
hibit fast driving over the public roads and highways within
the limits of Brooklyn and South Baltimore, in Anne Arundel
county.

Fast driving
unlawful.

SEC. 106 A. It shall be unlawful for any person to ride or
drive any horse or other animal over the public roads and
highways within the limits of Brooklyn and South Baltimore,
in Anne Arundel county, at any rate of speed exceeding eight
miles per hour; any person violating the provisions of this

fined a sum not exceeding twenty dollars, to be paid to the
County Commissioners of said county for the use of the public
roads.
