LAWS OF MARYLAND.

Redemption
or bonds.

Allegany county shall annually levy upon the assessable prop-
erty of said county, a tax sufficient to pay the interest on said
bonds, as it shall mature, until the first series of said bonds
shall become due and payable, .and then and thereafter, in
addition to said interest, they shall levy the sum of five
thousand dollars ($ 5,00) for the redemption of said bonds
as they shall mature, from year to year, until all said bonds
are paid.

Effective.

SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

Approved March 8th, 1894.

CHAPTER 67.

AN ACT to authorize the County Commissioners of Prince
George's County to pay to Richard E. Brandt, the State's
Attorney for said County, for the prosecution and conviction
of William Pinkney and Daniel Barber for the murder of
Francis M. Bowie, at the April term of the Circuit Court
for Prince George's County, in the year eighteen hundred
and ninety-three, and also to pay G. C. Magruder and Joseph
S. Wilson, attorneys appointed by the said court to defend
Daniel Barber, one of said murderers, such compensation as
the said commissioners may think fair and reasonable.

To pay Clair

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
a Maryland, That the County Commissioners of Prince
George's county be and they are hereby authorized and
empowered to pay to Richard E. Brandt, the State's Attorney
for Prince George's county, Maryland, for the prosecution and
conviction of William Pinkney and Daniel Barber for the
murder of Francis M. Bowie, at the April term, eighteen
hundred and ninety-three, of the Circuit Court for Prince
George's county, and also to pay to C. O. Magruder and Joseph
S. Wilson, attorneys appointed by the said court to defend
Daniel Barber, one of the said parties so convicted, such com-
pensation as they may think fair and reasonable.

Effective.
