SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That all laws inconsistent with
or repugnant to the provisions of this act be and they are
hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency, and this
act shall take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 571.
AN ACT to confirm Ordinance number seventeen, approved
March the fifth, eighteen hundred and ninety-four, of the
Ordinance of the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore,
entitled " An Ordinance appropriating the sum of three
hundred dollars, and providing for a pension of five dollars
per week to William H. War."

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That ordinance number seventeen, approved March
the fifth, eighteen hundred and ninety-four, of the ordinance
of the mayor and city council of Baltimore, be and the same
is hereby ratified and confirmed; and that the mayor and city
council shall hereafter have the same power to repeal said
ordinance that they have over ordinances passed under their
general powers.
