peace of said town; and upon conviction of said offence, the
said offender shall be fined not less than one dollar or more
than twenty dollars, with costs, and in default of payment of
the fine and costs aforesaid or security aforesaid, the party
shall be committed to the county jail as in like cases of
default as is herein provided; all tines and penalties and
forfeitures so recovered shall be paid to the commissioners of
Easton, and shall form a part of the revenues of said town;

Penalty.

and it shall be the duty of the commissioners of Easton to
keep an accurate account of the receipt of all fines, penalties
and forfeitures, and of all revenues received from taxes and
from other sources in each and every year, and of the expendi-
ture thereof, and within thirty days after the end of each and
every year to publish in three newspapers printed in the town
of Easton, an accurate and itemized statement of all salaries
paid to officers of every kind of said town, or extra pay for
any duties performed by said officers not within the scope of
duties prescribed by said commissioners, or in any manner
paid or allowed to persons employed by them, omitting the
name of each individual laborer employed by the day in clean-
ing the streets of said town, or other labor, but giving a general
summary thereof under appropriate heads, for the information
of the inhabitants of said town.

Accounts to
be kept.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That all laws inconsistent with
or repugnant to the provisions of this act be and the same are
hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency, and this
act shall take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 566.

AN ACT to incorporate the Curtis Creek Bridge Company of
Anne Arundel County, and to authorize the building of a
bridge over said Curtis Creek at Walnut Point, and to
repeal Chapter 307 of the Acts of 1860, entitled "An Act
to incorporate Curtis Creek Bridge Company."

Effective.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Frank Revell, Elias Stallings, Sidney O.
Heiskill, William B. Chairs, William G. Gischell, Edward P.
Fokeman, William C. Pennington. James Swann Frick,
