the corporation to resume the exercise of its banking powers
and franchisee, but the same shall be closed, and after the pay-
ment of its debts and liabilities, the remaining assets and
property of the corporation shall be divided pro rata among
the stockholders or their assigns.

SEC. 25. And be it enacted, That the General Assembly
of Maryland hereby reserves to itself the right to alter,
amend or repeal this act at its pleasure.

Amendment
or repeal.

SEC. 26. And be it enacted, That any and all laws of this
State inconsistent with the provisions of this act, be and they
are hereby repealed so far as they apply to the Farmers and
Merchants' Bank of Salisbury, Wicomico county, Maryland,
named in this act.

SEC. 27. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 538.
AN ACT to add two sub-sections to Section eighty-one of
Article ten of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Dor-
chester County," sub-title " Cambridge."

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the two following sub-sections, to be respec-
tively designated as sub-section A and sub-section B, be added
to section eighty-one of article ten of the Code of Public Local
Laws, title " Dorchester County," sub-title " Cambridge."

SUB-SEC. A. If any person, on or near any public street or
other highway in the town of Cambridge, or at or near any
place of public resort, or at or near any place in said town
where people are assembled for amusements or other lawful
purpose, in the hearing of any person or persons then and
there being or passing, shall curse, swear, or use profane or
indecent language, or shall any where within the corporate
limits of said town, be guilty of any disorderly conduct to the
disturbance of the public peace, or shall be guilty of any inde-
cent act or exposure in the view of any persons then and there
being or passing, such person shall be guilty of a misdemeanor,
