CHAPTER 59.
AN ACT to provide for the appraisement in Baltimore
County, of goods, chattels and personal estate of a deceased
person, by adding an additional section to Article 3 of the
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title " Baltimore County,"
sub-title " Orphans' Court," to be known as Section 173 A.

New section.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the following section be and the same is
hereby added to article 3 of the Public Local Laws of Mary-
land, title "Baltimore County," sub-title "Orphans' Court,"
to be known as section 173 A :

Appraising
goods and
chattels or
a deceased ;
proceed-
ings.
|
173 A. On granting letters testamentary, or of administra-
tion or of collection, by the Orphans' Court of Baltimore
county, a warrant or warrants shall issue under the seal of
office, authorizing two persons of discretion, one of whom
shall be selected by the Court, and the other named by the
executor, administrator or collector, neither of whom shall be
related to the deceased, nor interested in the administration,
to appraise the goods, chattels and personal estate of the
deceased, known to them or to be shown by the executor,
administrator or collector.

Effective.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 60.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Chapter
595 of the Acts passed January session, eighteen hundred
and ninety, Section two hundred and eight of Article ten of
the Code of Public Local Laws, titled "Dorchester County,"
sub-title "Liquors and Intoxicating Drinks," by adding new
sub-sections thereto.

Repeal.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That chapter 595 of the acts passed by the Jan-
nary session, eighteen hundred and ninety, section two hundred
and eight of article ten of the Code of Public Local Laws,
