CHAPTER 514.

AN ACT to add an additional Section to Article eight of the
Code of Public Local Laws, title "Cecil County," sub-title
"Crier and Bailiffs," to be designated as Section one hundred
and three A, imposing additional duties upon the crier of
the Circuit Court of Cecil County; also to repeal and re-
enact Section one hundred and four of said Article.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That an additional section be and the same is
hereby added to article eight of the Code of Public Local
Laws, title "Cecil County," sub title "Crier and Bailiffs," to be

one hundred and four of said article is hereby repealed and
re-enacted, said sections to read as follows :

Duties of
crier.

SEC. 103 A. The crier of the Circuit Court for Cecil county,
in addition to the duties now imposed by law, shall have the
care and custody of the court room of said court and the fur-
niture therein, and shall keep the same in proper and safe con-
dition, and said crier shall, during the sessions of said court
and at all other times, have the care of all books belonging to
said county and return the same to the clerk of said court.

Compensa-
tion.

SEC. 104. The crier of the Circuit Court for Cecil county
shall receive an annual salary of two hundred and fifty dollars,
to be paid by the County Commissioners of Cecil county,
semi-annually, from the first day of April, eighteen hundred
and ninety-four.

Effective.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

Approved April 6th, 1894.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 113
of Article two of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
"Anne Arundel County," sub-title "County Commissioners."
