FRANK BROWN, ESQUIRE, GOVERNOR.

Chestnut Grove; thence to road leading from American
Corners to Fcderalsburg; thence with said road to the Isaac
Lehman road; thence to three bridge Federalsburg road by the
way of Bayard Nichols road to Nichols Post Office; thence to
Friendship Church by way of Greer farm; thence by direct
public roads to Grove, Fowling creek and Ganey's on Chop-

tank river, and with said river to place of beginning. The
boundary line on the east side of Choptank river between the
second and third election districts shall read as follows: Begin-
ning at the mouth of Chapel Branch on Choptank river and
running with said branch till it intersects the Delaware State
line.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the place for holding
elections in said Ridgely district or district number seven shall
be Ridgely, and that the place for holding elections in Ameri-
can Corners district or district number eight shall be American
Corners.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That the Governor shall appoint
one register of voters each in and for the said respective new
districts, numbers seven and eight.

SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That the inhabitants of said
new districts, numbers seven and eight, respectively, shall be
entitled in all respects to all the rights and privileges had or to
be had or enjoyed by the other election districts of said county.

SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That the clerk of the Circuit
Court for Caroline county shall furnish proper books for regis-
tration, such as may be required by law, to be delivered to the
respective registers of voters for said new districts, numbers
seven and eight; said clerk shall also at the same time deliver
to said respective registers of voters full lists, under seal of his
office, of all regibtered persons or voters appearing on the
registration books for the second and sixth election districts of
Caroline county, and third, fourth and fifth election districts of
Caroline county, respectively, and the said registers of voters
of said Ridgely district or district number seven, and said
American Corners district or district number eight, shall tran-
scribe from said respective list for their said respective dis-
tricts, and enter in alphabetical order in said registration books
for said respective new districts, numbers seven and eight, the
names of all persons living within the limits thereof entitled
to vote in said respective districts, and likewise to register
tl erein the names of all persons who shall become entitled to
