said county by a suit in the name of the State of Maryland,
for the use of the County Commissioners of Dorchester county,
and by him paid over to said commissioners, less his commis-
sion for collecting the same; and all fines collected under this
act by the several officers named therein shall be by them paid
over to the County Commissioners of the county aforesaid.

SEC. 9. And be it enacted, That any person under twenty-

one years of age, who shall, by misrepresentation or false:
statement as to his age, obtain any spirituous or fermented
liqnor from any person, firm or body corporate licensed to sell
such liquors under the provisions of this act, and any person
who shall obtain for a person under said age from such licensed
dealer, knowing said person to be a minor, shall be deemed
guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof, before
a justice of the peace of said county or in the Circuit Court

thereof, upon appeal from the sentence of such justice, shall
be fined not less than tive dollars nor more than twenty-five
dollars and costs, or confined in the county jail not less than
thirty days nor more than sixty days, or both, in the discretion
of said Court or justice.

Penalty.

SEC. 10. And be it enacted, That if it be found as the
result of the election hereinbefore provided for, that a
majority of the ballots cast at such election have written or
printed upon them the words, "Against the sale of spirituous
or fermented liquors," then proclamation of such result shall
forthwith be made by the Commissioners of Cambridge in the
manner hereinbefore directed, and the said town of Cambridge
shall in all respects, except as herein provided, be and remain
under the provisions of the existing law as to the liquor
traffic as it applies to district number 7 of the county afore-
said; but provided, that it shall be unlawful for pharmacist or
druggist to sell any intoxicating liquors or medicated bitters
producing intoxication, or any compound of which alcohol
forms the chief or principal ingredient, in said town or dis-
trict No. 7 of the county aforesaid; and all laws inconsistent
with this provision are hereby repealed; and any pharmacist
or druggist violating this provision shall be liable, upon prose-
cution and conviction, to the penalties provided in section 7
of this act.

SEC. 11. And lie it enacted, That if any bar-rooms or places
for the sale of spirituous or fermented liquors, be established
under the provisions of this act, it shall be unlawful to keep
open the same after the hour of 12 o'clock P. M., or for any
