CHAPTER 429.

AN ACT to pay Daniel W. Townsend the sum of nine
dollars and fifty cents for a license fee erroneously paid by
him to John W. Belt, Clerk of the Circuit Court for Prince
George's County, and paid into the State Treasury by the
said John W. Belt.

Appropria-
tion.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Comptroller of the Treasury be and he
is hereby authorized and directed to issue his warrant on the
Treasurer of this State, to pay Daniel W. Townsend the sum
of nine dollars and fifty cents, for license fee erroneously paid
by him to John W. Belt, Clerk of the Circuit Court for Prince
George's county, on the fourth day of May, 1892, and paid by
the said John W. Belt into the State treasury.

Effective.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

Approved April 6th, 1894.

CHAPTER 430.

AN ACT to repeal Section 188 A and 188 B of Article two of
the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Anne Arundel
County," sub-title "Oysters," as enacted by the Act of 1892,
Chapter 697, and to re-enact the same with amendments.

Repeal.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That section 188 A and 188 B of article two of the
Code of Public Local Laws, title "Anne Arundel County,"
sub-title "Oysters," as enacted by the act of 1890, chapter 697,
be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted with amend-
ments so as to read as follows :

Tonging

188 A. Any resident of Anne Arundel county desiring to
use any canoe or other boat in catching or taking oysters for
sale, or for any other purpose, with rakes or tongs, in any of
the waters of said county, shall first obtain a license therefor
by application to the clerk of the Circuit Court of said county ;
provided, however, that such license shall not authorize the use
of said canoe or boat in taking or catching oysters on the
