CHAPTER 390.

AN ACT to authorize and direct the County Commissioners
of Harford County to grant a pension of seventy-five dollars
per year to Hamilton Norris, of said County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the County Commissioners of Harford
county be and they are hereby authorized and directed to levy
and pay annually to Hamilton Norris, of said county, the sum
of seventy-rive dollars.

May grant
pension.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

Approved April 6th, 1894.

CHAPTER 391.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact Section one of Chapter one
hundred and fifty, of the Acts passed at December Session,
eighteen hundred and fifty-three, an Act amendatory to the
Chapter of the Baltimore Orphan Asylum, so as to increase
the number of Directors of said Asylum.

Effective.

SECTION 1 Be it enacted by the General Assembly cf
Maryland, That section one of chapter one hundred and fafty,
of the acts passed at December session, eighteen hundred and
fifty-three, be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted
so as to read as follows :

Repeal.

SECTION 1 Be it enacted ly the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the number of Directors of the Baltimore
Orphan Asylum, be and is hereby increased from nine the
number prescribed by the third section of the act passed at
November session, eighteen hundred and seven, chapter one
Ered and forty-five, to such number as the Trustees of said
Baltimiore Orphan Asylum may from time to time prescribe,
of whom shall be elected by the Board of Directors to act
as president, one as vice-president, one as treasurer and one as
secretary, and that seven directors shall constitute a quorum
for the transaction of business.
