after the first Monday in November, eighteen hundred and
ninety-three, shall hold his office for four years from the date
of his election; and on the first Tuesday after the first Monday
in the month of November, in the year eighteen hundred and
ninety-five, and every two years thereafter, there shall be
elected by the qualified voters of said county two County
Commissioners, one of whom shall hold his office for the
period of two years from the date of his election, and the
other shall hold his office for the term of four years from the
date of his election; and the person voted for at said election
to hold said office for tsvo years, shall be designate on the ballots
cast at said elections by the words "Short Term" written or
printed immediately over the name of the person voted for,
and the person voted for to hold said office for the term of
four years, shall be designated on the ballots cast at said elec-
tion by the words "Long Term" written or printed immedi-
ately over the name of the person voted for.

Road
districts.
|
SEC. 106 B. For the purpose of supervision of the public roads
therein, Cecil county shall be divided into three commissioners'
districts, as follows : The first, second and third election dis-
tricts shall compose the first commissioner district; the fourth,
fifth and ninth election districts shall compose the second com-
missioner district, and the sixth, seventh and eighth election
districts shall compose the third commissioner district; and the
commissioner residing in each of said commissioners' districts,
if any, shall have supervision of the public roads within the
same.

Salary of
County
Commis-
sioners.
|
SEC. 106 C. The County Commissioners of Cecil county shall
each receive an annual salary of five hundred dollars in lieu of
all other compensation, per diem or mileage, said salary to
commence and continue on and after the first day of Decem-
ber, 1894.

Effective.
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.
