CHAPTER 375.
AN ACT to authorize the Baltimore and Washington Transit
Company of Maryland, and the Edrnondson Avenue, Catons-
ville and Ellicott City Electric Railway Company, to con-
solidate under the name of "The Baltimore and Washington
Electric Transit Company."

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Baltimore and Washington Transit Com-
pany of Maryland, and the Edmondson Avenue, Catonsville
and Ellicott City Electric Railway Company, are hereby
authorized to consolidate under the name of "The Baltimore
and Washington Electric Transit Company," in the manner
provided for, and with such capital stock as is authorized by
the general law of this State.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the affairs of said

Baltimore and AYashington Electric Transit Company be
managed by a board of directors, and that the names of the
directors for the first year shall be set forth in the agreement
for consolidation, to be tiled with the Secretary of State.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted. That upon such consoli-
dation, all the rights, powers and privileges possessed by either
of the component corporations, and the rights to pass through
Prince George's county, shall vest in the consolidated com-
pany.

SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 376.
AN ACT to repeal Sections two and three of Chapter 22 of
the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at
the January session, 1894, entitled "An act to amend the
charter of the Supreme Lodge of the Order of the Golden
Chain of Baltimore City," a corporation duly formed under
the provisions of Article 23 of the Code of Public General
Laws of Maryland, title "Corporations."
