CHAPTER 370.
AN ACT to pay a sum of money to James Young, of Balti-
more City, for printing the Annual Report of the State
Board of Health in the year 1884.

Effective.

WHEREAS, In the year 1884, the State Board of Health of;
Maryland contracted with Jatnes Young, of Baltimore city,
for the printing of the annual report of said board; and
|
Preamble.
|
|
|
WIIEEEAS, The said James Young did print the said annual :
report according to his contract, but he never received pay-
ment for the same as agreed upon; therefore,
|
Preamble.
|
|
|
Be it enacted ly the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the sum of one hundred and seventy-two dollars and
eighty cents be and the same is hereby appropriated to pay the
said James Young as the amount due him for printing said
report of the State Board of Health, and the Comptroller of
the treasury of Maryland is hereby authorized and directed to
draw his warrant upon the Treasurer of Maryland for said
sum of money hereby appropriated in favor of said James
Young.

CHAPTER 371.
AN ACT to amend the charter of the Board of Trustees of
St. John's African Methodist Episcopal Church of the City
of Baltimore, a religious corporation incorporated under the
general corporation laws of the State of Maryland, and
enable it to sell, lease, dispose of or mortgage its property.
