CHAPTER 358.
AN ACT to grant additional powers to the Reese Grocery
Company of Baltimore City.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Reese Grocery Company of Baltimore
city, a body corporate existing under and by authority of
article twenty -three of the Code of Public General Laws,
title "Corporation," in addition to the powers acquired by said
company under the authority aforesaid, be and it is hereby
authorized and empowered to buy, sell and deal in all kinds of
food supplies, including groceries, and to conduct a general
wholesale and retail grocery business; to buy, sell and own
such real estate or personal property as may be incident to the
conducting of said business; to manufacture or pack articles
intended for food, and also all articles such as are usually made,
bought and sold by grocers.

SEC. 2. And lie it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 359.
AN ACT to empower the County Commissioners of Calvert
County to levy a sum of money, for the building of a school
house, for white children, in election district number one,
precinct number one, in Calvert County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the County Commissioners of Calvert county
be and they are hereby empowered and authorized to levy for
the building of a new school house, for white children, in
election district number one, precinct number one, at or near
Olivet post office, in Calvert county, such a sum of money as,
in the opinions of the said commissioners, may be sufficient for
the purpose hereinbefore specified.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.
